  I had extensive work done today and the care and attention to detail was superlative. I am a huge sissy when it comes to dental work, so I was very grateful to have nitrous, as well as other options available. I am especially impressed with the practice's willingness to invest in new technology and ongoing training for their people. Everyone did an excellent job of explaining each step of the procedure and what sensations I should expect. They even try to make the place not sound and smell like a dental office, by playing real music and offering a loaf fresh bread when you're done. The restroom was spotless, had high end soaps and lotions, and listerine available...and they even spent the money for high quality cloth-like hand towels. Those details truly help set this practice apart. I also noticed a mild dress code, with hygienists and assistants in lab coats and front desk people in black tops, and everyone was well groomed and very professional in their appearance and demeanor - all of which I found incredibly refreshing. While I was in the chair, what I felt most was overwhelming gratitude for having such advanced technology and experienced dentists and staff available to me. I wish I had come here 15 years ago!

  Very friendly, competent group of people in this practice! Dr. Perry is a true professional--brings in research evidence, gives you options, but is also realistic in his approach. I felt like each staff member took time to explain each procedure and what to expect. The office is spotless and welcoming (coffee, water, neutral colored ambiance). The only thing that I would change is the number of people with whom you have to interact to get from filling out initial paperwork to walking out the door. This seems to be the way most practices now operate and, while I trust it's this way for some well thought out reason, I find it a bit wearying and commercial. But all said, I did feel personally cared for and will make Benicia Family Dentistry "our dentist" while the Air Force lets us stay in NOCAL.
